DRFC Injury list showing signs of improvement

Doncaster Rovers have updated the current injury situation at the Keepmoat.

The good news is Rovers have three players back in training after lengthy spells on the sidelines.

Defender James Chambers continues his return to fitness after being sidelined for most of the last eighteen months.

Fellow defender Rachid Bouhenna is back in training. Bouhenna has missed the whole season having signed for Rovers on a one-year deal in the summer.

Striker Chris Brown is stepping up his return to fitness and is now working with the clubs fitness coach for two weeks. Brown hasn`t played since the defeat at Derby County in the early weeks of the season.

Midfielder Paul Keegan is closing in on a return to training and is expected to start running again next week. He has struggled with injuries since last March and he has made just two substitute appearances so far this season, the last one against West Ham in August.

Defender Pascal Chimbonda is still a couple of weeks away from a return to training following his thigh muscle injury sustained at Watford on New Year`s Eve.

Neil Sullivan, George Friend and James Coppinger are still a long way off a return to training with their respective injuries.

All three are not expected to return before mid-March at the earliest.
