DRFC Rovers to hold pitch inspection today

Doncaster Rovers are to hold a pitch inspection today ahead of the game with Reading on Saturday.

The pitch has been covered at the Keepmoat this week, but with temperatures plummeting to below zero again last night and forecasted to do so again Friday night a referee will assess the pitch this afternoon at 2.30pm.

The club state on their official website that they do not expect the match to be called off at this early stage.

Games are already being called off, with the games at Bournemouth, Gillingham, Morecambe and Rotherham already being postponed, whilst a number of other games are holding inspections today.

I suppose they were checking the pitch around kick off time to assess what it would be like at the same time tomorrow
