DRFC Palace game off after inspection

Crystal Palace have announced that their home game with Doncaster Rovers on Saturday is off after a pitch inspection at Selhurst Park.

The game has fallen due to areas of the playing area being frozen despite the covers being on the pitch all week.

It is the second weekend in a row that Rovers have seen their game called off because of the weather, after last weekend`s home game with Reading was called off, also because of a frozen pitch.

It was -10 down here last night so no chance of the pitch improving. Good to see an early decision was made to save fans travelling.

Could have done without another one being called off.
