DRFC Fixture pile up looming for Rovers

Doncaster Rovers could be facing a fixture pile up after their second game in a row fell to the sub-zero temperatures sweeping Britain.

Rovers saw their game at the Keepmoat against Reading last weekend called off and Crystal Palace have announced that Saturday`s game is off due to a frozen pitch.

Rovers will now be hoping to get their home game with Blackpool on Tuesday night on or face a fixture headache in the closing months of the season.

Luckily, the forecast in the early part of next week shows signs of improvement.

At the moment, Rovers face having to play eighteen games in the final ten weeks of the season and have played just once since January 21st.

No new dates have yet to be arranged for either the Reading or Crystal Palace games.

Thankfully it looks like the weather is warming up from Sunday. Can't afford to get any more called off.

Really need to get one of the two games rearranged for Feb 21st or 28th. We have 7 games in March already and 6 in April. We have had no game for a fortnight so players should be chomping at the bit and we have an almost fully fit squad at the moment.
