McKay - Bates has a cheek to question transfers

Doncaster Rovers consultant and football agent Willie McKay has hit back at Leeds United chairman Ken Bates after he criticised the clubs transfer policy on the eve of the game at Elland Road on Saturday.

McKay was brought in by Rovers in September in a bid to bring better players to the club in a bid to put them in the shop window.

Bates had a dig last week when he said it was obviously not working with Rovers at the bottom of the table.

Rovers have brought in a number of players already, with six involved in the narrow defeat at Leeds on Saturday.

One of those brought in, Mamadou Bagayoko scored twice for Rovers on Saturday and McKay says Bates has a cheek questioning the clubs transfer policy when one of Leeds best players on Saturday was on loan to the club.

Speaking on Sky Sports, McKay said, 'I think Ken Bates has got a cheek to question Doncaster's transfer policy when Leeds' best player on Saturday was someone they have signed on loan from Tottenham.

'I bet all Leeds fans now know who Mamadou Bagayoko is after his two goals on Saturday."

McKay also had a dig at Bates ticket price structure at Elland Road. 'I also think Ken Bates has got a cheek to charge Doncaster fans 36 for an adult ticket and 25 for a junior ticket for the game, as he is taking liberties himself by using an OAP bus pass in Monaco,'
continued McKay.

The bloke is an idiot. He is despised up and down the country. Even his own fans hate him.
