DRFC Goalkeeper delighted to be back

DRFC Goalkeeper delighted to be back

On loan goalkeeper Carl Ikeme says he is delighted to be back at the Keepmoat after injury brought a premature end to his first stint with the club earlier this season.

Ikeme joined Doncaster back in November and he was due to stay at the Keepmoat until the New Year until a broken thumb ended his loan after just five games.

The 25 year old has signed for Doncaster on an initial one-month loan deal and he is delighted to be back. Speaking on the official website, Ikeme said, "I am delighted to be back.

"It`s good to see all the lads again, I`m back training again and it feels good to be back."

Ikeme kept two clean sheets in his five games during his first stint at the Keepmoat including one against league leaders Southampton in a 1-0 win.

Good to see him back. Need a keeper with a bit more prescence behind the defence.
