DRFC Allardyce - Opposition manager's view
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce was left frustrated after seeing his promotion chasing hammers drop more home points against Doncaster Rovers.
The draw made it four home draws in a row and third placed Reading, who visit Doncaster on Tuesday night, have now caught them up on points.
Allardyce felt his side made a great start and deservedly took the lead through Kevin Nolan inside ten minutes and he felt they had enough chances to have the game won inside fifteen minutes.
Speaking on BBC Radio, Allardyce said, "After such a great start today and creating so much in the early part of the game, when it gets to the latter part of the game and we haven`t won, everybody gets frustrated.
"For us all I think it is a continuation of frustration, which is the problem. It happened against Watford and Crystal Palace here, so we have had three on the trot that has frustrated everybody.
"We had enough chances to win the game in the first fifteen minutes. I thought Vaz Te`s disallowed goal was ok, Kevin Nolan scored and Carlton Cole was unlucky when he hit the bar and we should have had a penalty for handball.
"When those things go against you, there is bound to be a spell when the opposition come into the game. They got a bit of luck and got the goal and everyone started to look a little bit nervous and edgy."
