DRFC Southampton v Doncaster Team News

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders will have to try to pick his squad up for the trip to table toppers Southampton on Saturday.

Rovers lost twice at the Keepmoat last week and are now four points from safety.

Saunders is hoping to welcome back defender Pascal Chimbonda to the squad after he was forced to miss the midweek defeat to Millwall.

Fellow defender Shelton Martis looks set to remain on the sidelines through injury, as does Kyle Bennett who both missed the Millwall game.

Rovers have also been hit with the news that defender Tommy Spurr will miss the remainder of the season after breaking his hand.

Brian Stock, George Friend, Martin Woods and Habib Bamogo all remain on the sidelines with long-term injuries.

Southampton hope to have Tadanari Lee back in the squad after missing the last two games through injury.

Guly Do Prado is a doubt for the saints after limping out of the midweek game with Hull City in midweek early in the second half.

Steve De Ridder is likely to replace Do Prado, although former Rovers striker Billy Sharp will be hoping to make just his fourth start since switching clubs during the January transfer window.

Striker David Connolly will be hoping to be back in the squad following injury.
