I think it`s a case of damned if you do and damned if you don`t. When you look back at our situation before Sean was given the push we were in dire straits, with up to sixteen players unavailable through injury etc. ` and sometimes not even able to fill the bench at all. We started the season as we left it in 2010. With the addition of Billy and Copps being cruelly incapacitated, it must have been devastating for the rest of the team, (I know it was for us) as a result more and more players were trying hard to play at 75% and getting hurt more in the process Fans were calling for something to be done, for a club with our attendances and losses and after what had been injected in personally by J.R.and the others, I think buying any more players was out of the question When McKay (who rumour had it Sean wouldn't `t work with) came up with a scheme, that on paper would be to everyone's benefit, it looked to be a possible answer to our problems. Whatever we did it would involve bringing in temporary loan or short term players. Which looked best ! experienced men recovering their status with an incentive to get back where they came from, or youngsters, put out cheaply, at our expense to gain experience ? to get players who are unfamiliar with each other to gel overnight is almost impossible, even Man City with all their money took three seasons to achieve it. When you look at the missed chances we have had, a lot of them have been down to our regular team players, most likely through anxiety, if anybody can remember more class, or a better passer of a ball than Dioufy then I rest my case. (just a reminder, when we beat Leeds in the play-offs nobody gave us more than a season in the Championship !) I think we have done it before and can do it again, don`t forget ! ROVERS TILL WE DIE !

I do honesty fear for the future of my club at the moment. JR is now fighting a lone battle in keeping the club afloat and there seems very little gratitude from some quarters that must have him asking the question, 'why do I bother' I go on some of the other boards. The VSC for one is full of doom and gloom and continously slating of the Rovers players, management and even some have a dig at JR. It is a shame that this site doesn't get a few more on it. At least those that generally contribute are fully behind Rovers. I do feel the gods haven't been on our side since the start of 2011 but will be there again next season no matter what the division.

Whatever happens it is certainly going to be a very interesting summer.

We need a league one squad for league one. I can see a lot of changes in the summer.
