DRFC Leicester v Doncaster Head to Head
Doncaster Rovers travel to Leicester City on Saturday having not been the most frequent of opponents over the years.
They have met on 14 previous occasions at Leicester with them having by far the better record.
Leicester have won 12, drawn 1 and lost 1, Rovers only ever victory coming at Filbert Street in 1902 when they won 1-0.
Rovers heaviest defeat came during the 1936/37 season when they were beaten 7-1.
The two sides have now met twice in the last two seasons at the Walker Stadium having gone over 50 years without facing each other.
When the sides met in 2009/10, they shared the points in a 0-0 draw.
Last season the game was turned on its head with a very dubious penalty decision in the dying seconds of the first half.
Rovers looked like going in at the break one goal to the good after Billy Sharp had opened the scoring for Rovers.
The turning point came when Neil Sullivan and James O`Connor were adjudged to have fouled Lloyd Dyer in the penalty area and Paul Gallagher converted from the spot.
There was no stopping Leicester in the second half and goals from Richie Wellens, Kyle Naughton, Darius Vassell and Martyn Waghorn saw the home side inflict a 5-1 defeat on Rovers.
