DRFC Ikeme goes back to Wolves

Wolverhampton Wanderers have recalled goalkeeper Carl Ikeme from his loan spell at Doncaster Rovers.

Ikeme was due to remain at the Keepmoat until the end of the season but an injury to Wolves number one goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey leaves Wolves short in this department.

The keeper has made 15 appearances for Doncaster in two separate loan spells this season but he has not played in the last three games following the 4-0 defeat at Leicester City.

Gary Woods has started the last three games and Doncaster now have veteran goalkeeper Neil Sullivan back to full fitness after recovering from a broken thumb.

Woodsy had a great game at Middlesbrough, his confidence must be up, hope he carries on the good work.

Woods needs to start stepping up. It was hard for him being thrown in when he was last season and the start of this.
