DRFC Rovers trio in Team of the Week

Doncaster Rovers have three players in this week`s championship team of the week for their performances at Coventry City on Saturday.

Rovers won 2-0 at Coventry thanks to late goals from substitute James Hayter from the penalty spot and Simon Gillett, a result that condemned Coventry to League One alongside Rovers next season.

Defender George Friend and midfielders James Coppinger and Simon Gillett were the Rovers players included.

The team of the week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions from the weekend`s games.
