Vital Doncaster looks back at the previous encounters between Doncaster Rovers and Ipswich Town at Belle Vue and the Keepmoat.
The two sides have only ever met on six previous occasions at Doncaster with four of those coming this century.
Rovers have won two and three have been drawn and Ipswich have the one win.
In the 2004/05 season, League One Rovers caused a Carling cup upset when they beat Championship side Ipswich 2-0 at Belle Vue thanks to goals from Ricky Ravenhill and Jermaine McSporran.
Shelton Martis scored the only goal of the game in front of the live Sky TV cameras, when the sides met in Rovers first season back in the Championship in 2008/09.
The two sides served up a six-goal thriller at the Keepmoat in the 2009/10 season. Rovers looked to be cruising to victory thanks to a goal from Waide Fairhurst with only twenty-four minutes remaining.
Joe Colbeck equalised before Martin Woods fired Rovers back into the lead.
Within five minutes, Ipswich looked like taking the points back to Anglia after goals from Tamas Priskin and Lee Martin.
Rovers earned a point with just six minutes remaining when Quinton Fortune fired home his only goal for the club.
Last season there was once again six goals but this time Ipswich scored all six for their first ever win in Doncaster.
A Sam Hird own goal set Ipswich on their way and Colin Healy and Connor Wickham added to the scoreline before half time. Wickham scored twice more to complete his hat trick in the second half and another from Gareth McAuley inflicted Rovers heaviest ever defeat at the Keepmoat.
