DRFC Friend wins top awards at Rovers
George Friend was the big winner at the Doncaster Rovers end of season awards dinner.
The defender claimed both the Player of the season and the Supporters club Player of the season.
Brian Stock picked up the goal of the season for his long distance strike at Peterborough United back in October.
Young defender James Husband who has broken into the first team at the end of this season picked up the young players player of the season and the youth team collectively picked up the youth team player of the year.
The youth team play in the final of the youth team cup down at Exeter City this evening.

He has played really well this season. I actually would have given it to Simon Gillett although he isn't one of the more popular Rovers players.
