DRFC Retained and released list tells little

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has announced his retained and released squad list.

To be honest it tells us very little as the club admit they are talking about new deals with some of those on the released list and some of those on the retained list may be sold to free up some wages.

There are 13 players on the retained list, whilst 14 on the released list.

There is no mention of El Hadji Diouf, who signed an eighteen-month contract but is free to talk to other clubs following the clubs relegation.

Herita Ilunga, Habib Bamogo, Mamadou Bagayoko, Pascal Chimbonda and Lamine Diatte have also come to the end of their short-term deals at the Keepmoat.
