Brabin Sacked
Gary Brabin, who played for Rovers in the 1990's has had is contract terminated by Southport. Brabin had been playing for the Conference club since January. Rumour suggests the club are unhappy he did not disclose he had a heart problem when he signed the contract with them.
Brabin, now 35, also played as a midfielder for Hull, though had been playing a more defensive role at Southport.
