DRFC Dumbuya still waiting for international debut

Doncaster Rovers defender Mustapha Dumbuya is still waiting to make his international debut for Sierra Leone after being an unused substitute in their win over Sao Tome Principe.

Sierra Leone progressed into the final qualifying round for the African cup of nation`s finals in 2013 with a 5-4 aggregate win over Sao Tome Principe.

Despite conceding a goal inside thirty seconds, two goals apiece from Kei Kamara and Teteh Bangura helped Leone turn around a 2-1 first leg deficit as they won the second leg 4-2 to progress.

Sierra Leone are now just two games away from reaching the finals in South Africa in 2013.

Although not playing, Dumbuya commented on his twitter page @pasima1 that it was an honour to be part of the squad.

Surely a debut is just around the corner for Dumbuya, who is out of contract at the Keepmoat at the end of this month.

Good luck Mustapha, have enjoyed your contribution at Rovers and am sure you will get to play for your country soon.

i wish he was staying. I really cannot understand how he couldn't get a game in a losing side last season.
