DRFC Rovers draw with Bradford PA

Doncaster Rovers have drawn their latest pre-season friendly 3-3 at Bradford Park Avenue.

Rovers included two new trialists in the squad with Australian goalkeeper Ben McNamara starting with Gary Woods missing with a thigh strain and experienced striker Karl Hawley on the bench.

There was no George Friend in the squad as the defender looks set to leave the Keepmoat.

Rovers went ahead, with David Cotterill scoring his second goal in three appearances since arriving in the summer.

Bradford were level from the penalty spot soon afterwards through O`Brien and Danny Holland sent the non-league side in ahead at half time.

Bradford increased their lead early in the second half through Marshall before two goals from Kyle Bennett brought Rovers level by the hour mark.

McNamara (Maxted 63), O`Connor, Husband (McCormick 59), Wakefield, Spurr, Stock (Mullen 76) Woods (Syers 46), Bennett, Cotterill (Brown 67), Blake (Hawley 46), Coppinger (Morgan-Smith 59)
