DRFC Stock joins Burnley

Doncaster Rovers midfielder Brian Stock has signed for championship side Burnley.

The midfielder has signed for the Turf Moor club on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

Stock departs the Keepmoat after almost six years with the club.

The 30 year old initially joined on loan from Bournemouth in September 2006 before completing the move the following January.

The Welsh international made 215 appearances for Rovers and helped the side win their first domestic trophy in 2007 when they lifted the Johnstone`s paint Trophy and one year later, he captained the side to the League One play off final win over Leeds United.

I hope he does well. I always liked Stock. I think if it wasn't for injuries he would have moved on years ago.
