DRFC Trio go out on loan

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders has sent three of his young professionals out on loan to gain some vital first team experience.

Jordan Ball, Jake McCormick and Liam Wakefield all signed their first professional contracts with the club in the summer and they have all joined non-league sides for one month.

Striker Jordan Ball has signed for Belper Town, who start their Evo-Stik Northern Premier First Division South campaign today against Coalville Town

Midfielder McCormick has signed for Frickley Athletic who play in the Evo-Stik Northern Premier Division. McCormick will be part of the squad that travel to Hednesford Town for their opening league fixture today.

Defender Wakefield has signed for Blue Square Premier Division North side Bradford Park Avenue who kick their season off today with a home game at the Horsfall Stadium against Worcester City.

The trio were all part of the Rovers youth sides successful Alliance cup win last season.
