DRFC Sharp on the move again

Former Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp has joined up with Nottingham Forest on loan for the season from Southampton.

Sharp only left Rovers in January when he joined Southampton and he helped them win promotion to the Premier League at the end of April.

The striker netted nine times in fifteen appearances for the South coast club.

Sharp will join familiar company at the City Ground with Rovers midfielder James Coppinger also joining Forest on transfer deadline day and former Rovers midfielder Simon Gillett joining them in the summer.

Forest are now managed by former Rovers boss Sean O`Driscoll, who was sacked by Rovers last September.
