DRFC Sheffield United v Doncaster Head to Head
Vital Doncaster looks at the head to head record between South Yorkshire neighbours Sheffield United and Doncaster Rovers at United ahead of the clash at Bramall Lane on Tuesday night.
The two clubs have only met on twelve previous occasions at Bramall Lane with Sheffield United winning six, fiver draws and one win for Doncaster.
Rovers met United on three occasions in recent seasons in the championship, and they were unbeaten on all three of their visits.
James O`Connor scored the only goal of the game for Rovers in the 2008/09 season to give their first ever win.
In the 2009/10 season, James Hayter gave Rovers the lead before Richard Cresswell equalised in the second half in a 1-1 draw.
The game in January 2011 saw Billy Sharp return to Bramall Lane and score twice against his former club to give Rovers a two goal second half lead.
The game changed when Dennis Souza was sent off for Rovers. United pulled a goal back with four minutes remaining and in the sixth minute of time added on Robert Kozluk equalised.
The last time United won was over the festive period during the 1982/83 season when they won 3-1.
There as only ever been one goalless draw between the sides at Bramall Lane with that going back to the 1950/51 season.
