DRFC Rovers midfielder in Team of the Week

Doncaster Rovers midfielder David Cotterill has been included in the League One Team of the week for his performance at Colchester United on Saturday.

Cotterill opened the scoring for Rovers with a well-executed shot from the edge of the area on Saturday and he claimed an assist on the second goal when Colchester midfielder Andy Bond headed past his own goalkeeper following a Cotterill cross.

The midfielder signed for Rovers in the summer from Swansea City and he has now netted twice in Rovers opening five league games.

He will be hoping to continue his good form when Rovers travel to one of his former clubs Sheffield United on Tuesday night.

Kyle McFadzean - Crawley
Mat Sadler - Crawley

The Team of the Week is chosen by the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions over the weekend`s games.
