DRFC Doncaster Rovers v Stevenage Head to Head

A look back at the history of games between Doncaster Rovers and Stevenage.

The game on Saturday will be the first time that the clubs have met in the Football League.

They have met on ten previous occasions in the Football Conference.

The first ever meeting came during the 1998/99 season when after drawing 0-0 at Belle Vue, Stevenage won the return 2-0 at Broadhall Way.

Rovers have only won two of the ten previous meetings home and away with Stevenage winning three and five have been drawn.

In the five meetings, that all came at Belle Vue, Rovers have kept clean sheets in four of the five games.

Three of the games have finished 0-0, with Stevenage winning 2-1 in the 1999/00 season and Rovers winning 2-0 during the 2001/02 season.

Rovers have only won once in their five visits to Stevenage when they won 3-2 in the 2002/03 season.

Stevenage have won two of the games at home whilst two have been drawn.

There have been just fifteen goals in the ten previous encounters. There have been five goalless draws and on only two occasions have both teams scored.
