DRFC Doncaster v Preston Head to Head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record against Preston ahead of the game at the Keepmoat on Tuesday night.

The two sides have met on sixteen occasions at Doncaster with Doncaster winning eight, Preston three and five have been draws.

The first encounter between the two came back in the 1901/02 season when Doncaster enjoyed a 4-0 win in the old Second Division.

Preston enjoyed their first win the following season when they came away from Belle Vue with a 2-1 victory.

The two sides have met at the Keepmoat on three occasions with Doncaster still looking for their first win having drawn two and lost one.

When the two sides last met, they shared the points in a 1-1 draw in the 2010/11 season.

Brian Stock gave Rovers the lead with just thirteen minutes remaining but the lead last just three minutes before Paul Hayes equalised for Preston.
