DRFC Rovers v Shrewsbury Head to Head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record against Shrewsbury Town ahead of the game at the Keepmoat on Saturday.

The two sides have met on twelve occasions previously, with Rovers winning three, Shrewsbury five and there have been four draws.

All twelve meetings came at Rovers former home Belle Vue with the first taking place in the 1966/67 season.

On that occasion, Rovers won a Third Division encounter 2-1.

Rovers remained unbeaten in the first three encounters at Belle Vue before Shrewsbury enjoyed their first win in the 1974/75 season 3-1.

Rovers are unbeaten in the last three meetings between the two clubs on home soil. The last meeting came in Rovers ill-fated 1997/98 season, when they enjoyed a rare success that season with a 2-1 win over Shrewsbury.
