DRFC Jones to miss Shrewsbury clash

Doncaster Rovers will be without defender Rob Jones for the home game with Shrewsbury Town on Saturday after the defender picked up his fifth yellow card of the season on Tuesday night.

Jones was cautioned in the home defeat to Preston North End, his third yellow card in his last four games and his fifth of the season, meaning an automatic one-match suspension.

The central defender has been a regular in the Rovers side this season since joining from Sheffield Wednesday during the summer.

David Cotterill and Chris Brown are closing in on a suspension having picked up three yellow cards each so far this season.

*One match ban for five yellow cards picked up on or before December 31st.

*Two match ban for ten yellow cards picked up on or before April 6th.

*Three match ban for fifteen yellow cards picked up at any time during the season.
