DRFC Rovers v Chesterfield Team News

Doncaster Rovers will be without Jamie McCombe for the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy clash at the Keepmoat on Tuesday night.

McCombe could be ruled out until the New Year after scans revealed that he has a fracture to his spine.

Boss Dean Saunders will welcome back Rob Jones who missed the win over Shrewsbury Town at the weekend due to suspension.

Martin Woods could also be back in contention after missing the same game with concussion.

New signing Michael Woods could make his debut for the club. The former Chelsea and Leeds United youngster signed for Rovers last week on a non-contract basis.

Chesterfield look set to be without former Rovers defender Sam Hird. Hird suffered an injury in training last week, which ruled him out of their win at Aldershot at the weekend.

Danny Whitaker was also injured in training last week and he is not expected to be risked for this game.

Mark Allott was added to the injury list at the weekend when he suffered a hamstring injury.

Long-term injured Tommy Lee, Nathan Smith and Mark Richards all remain on the sidelines.
