Jocky to Grimsby?

Former Rovers winger Jermaine McSporran could be set to join Grimsby Town. Jocky is a free agent after he had his contract at Chester City terminated by mutual agreement.

McSporran joined Chester from Rovers during the summer, but apparently wasn't suited to Mark Wright's style of play. Not only that but Chester have been forced to shed players as they reached the 60% wage cap.

Rumours in the local Chester paper suggest McSporran may go to Grimsby, though this may have come about as Town have recently signed to players from Rovers, Ricky Ravenhill and Nick Fenton.
