Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record between the Rovers of Tranmere and Doncaster at Prenton Park over the years.

Tuesday will be the 36th meeting between the two with Tranmere winning 16, Doncaster 12 and 7 have been drawn of the previous 35.

The first meeting came during the 1923/24 season when Tranmere won 3-0.

The 3-0 win is Tranmere`s highest home win over Rovers and they have achieved it on three separate occasions, 1923/24, 1963/64 and 1964/65.

Doncaster enjoyed their first win the following season when they won a Third Division North clash 2-1.

Doncaster have enjoyed some big wins at Tranmere, winning 4-2 twice and their best win came in the 1946/47 season when they won 5-3.

The last time the two sides met was in the 2007/08 season when Doncaster won 1-0 thanks to an early James Coppinger goal.
