DRFC Cotterill Expected To Miss Next Two Games

Doncaster Rovers boss Dean Saunders says he does not expect David Cotterill to return before the clash with Bournemouth in a fortnight`s time.

Cotterill picked up a calf injury in the win at Tranmere Rovers in midweek and despite Saunders saying the injury is not as bad as first feared prior to the game at Notts County at the weekend, he expects Cotterill to miss the next two games having sat out the win over Notts County on Saturday.

Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Saunders said, "He will not be ready for the FA Cup next week, then we have Crewe on Tuesday and he might not be ready for that one either.

"We are hoping he will be ready for the next one (Bournemouth) and we will see how he comes on now."

Cotterill had featured in every Rovers game before missing the trip to Notts County, following his signing from Swansea City in the summer.

The 24 year old has been instrumental in Rovers good start to the season and he has netted five times for the side since his arrival.

Theoretically Rovers can do without him for Bradford (or so you would hope).
