Jones clear winner in Player of the Month poll

Doncaster Rovers defender Rob Jones was a clear winner in the recent poll on Vital Doncaster.

Fans were asked to vote for their Player of the Month for October and Jones was a clear winner with 72% of the votes.

His form helped Rovers win five of their seven games in the month and move up to fifth place in League One as well as progress in the Johnstone`s Paint Trophy.

He also chipped in with a crucial equalising goal in the last minute of the game at Hartlepool United and he has twice been included in the Football League Team of the Week.
