Stadium Road Name Decided

Alick Jeffery , who died in 2000, was the most popular choice in an online poll run by Doncaster Council to choose the name of the road leading to the stadium.

Second was Sir Douglas Bader and third place went to David Pegg, one of the Busby Babes who died in the Munich air crash.

Rovers fans will be happy with the result and have been voting for a few weeks.

Mayor Martin Winter said ''As the new sports complex is for everyone in Doncaster it was important that the name of the road reflected the people of Doncaster's choice'

I am glad, it was the one I voted for but I couldn't understand why some of them had been chosen for the shortlist.
