Doncaster Rovers travel to Swindon Town on Saturday for only the tenth time in their history.
In the previous nine encounters, Swindon have won three, Doncaster two and four have been drawn.
The first ever meeting between the two was in the 1958/59 season when they shared the points in a 0-0 draw in a Third Division clash.
It was another eight seasons before they met again and they clashed three times in ten days with two of them coming at the County Ground.
Rovers won a Third Division clash 1-0 before losing a League Cup Second Leg clash 4-2 after drawing 1-1 at Belle Vue in the First Leg.
It was another fifteen seasons before their next meeting, when they shared the points in a 2-2 draw.
They met another two times during the 1980`s with Swindon winning 2-1 in 83/84 before sharing the points in the 86/87 season with a 1-1 draw.
It was another eighteen seasons before the met again and they have met three times since the turn of the century.
They shared the points in a 1-1 draw in the 2004/05 season. Greg Blundell had given Rovers a first half lead but a goal inside the final twenty minutes by Sam Parkin salvaged a point for the home side.
The following season, Swindon took all three points in a 2-1 win. Ricky Shakes and Charlie Comyn-Platt had given Swindon a two-goal lead before on loan striker Ross McCormack pulled a goal back for Rovers.
The last time they met was in the promotion season of 2007/08. Rovers won 2-1 on their way to the double over Swindon. Brian Stock gave Rovers a first half lead before Simon Cox equalised for the home side in the opening minutes of the second half. Rovers claimed all three points when Lewis Guy scored with nineteen minutes remaining.
