DRFC Doncaster v Coventry head to head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record between Doncaster Rovers and Coventry at Doncaster over the years.

The two sides have only ever met on eight occasions at Doncaster with the home side unbeaten, winning four and drawing four.

The first ever meeting between the two side also saw one of Doncaster Rovers best ever victories in their history when they won 8-1 in 1925/26.

They have met in each of the last three seasons in the Championship

Rovers last win came during the 2008/09 in the first of their meetings in the championship having gone 57 years without meeting. A solitary Richie Wellens strike was enough for Rovers.

The following season the game finished 0-0 with Kieran Westwood having an inspired game in the Coventry goal.

Last season, Coventry looked like they were going to record their first ever win at Rovers when Freddie Eastwood gave the visitors a first half lead.

James Hayter salvaged a draw for Rovers with a goal in the last minute of the game.
