DRFC Doncaster v Colchester Head-To-Head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record against Colchester United.

The two sides have met on 20 previous occasions at Doncaster with the home side winning 12, Colchester 4 and 4 have been drawn.

The first ever meeting between the two was a Third Division clash in the 1958/59 season when Doncaster won 2-1.

Colchester enjoyed their first win at Doncaster in their next meeting in the 1961/62 season when they returned to Essex with the points after a 4-1 win.

The two met on the final day of the 1997/98 season on a day when Doncaster were relegated from the Football League.

Doncaster were already relegated but a 1-0 win for Colchester saw them promoted.

They have met twice since Rovers return to the Football League with both games being drawn.
