DRFC Doncaster v Colchester Team News

Doncaster Rovers will be without striker Billy Paynter for the home game with Colchester United on Saturday.

The striker will serve the first game of a three-match suspension for his sending off against Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Defender Paul Quinn is a doubt after picking up a hamstring injury in the same game.

Chris Brown is once again a doubt after picking up an injury in training over the festive period.

Youngster Jordan Ball could be pushing for a place in the side with Paynter out and Brown a doubt.

Martin Woods is closing in on a return following his recent injury.

Colchester have been dealt a blow with the news that West Ham have recalled loan defender Dan Potts.

The U`s have bolstered their attacking options with the signing of Dominic Samuel from Reading.

George Porter could be pushing for a place in the starting line-up after coming off the bench in Tuesday`s defeat at Crawley Town after joining on loan from Burnley.

Josh Thompson will be missing as he serves a one-match suspension for his sending off against Brentford over the festive period.

It would be good to see young Jordan Ball given an opportunity.
