DRFC Rovers to continue promotion push?

Doncaster Rovers are in League One action today against Colchester United hoping to continue their recent good form.

Rovers picked up seven points from a possible nine over the festive period and a win today against Colchester would see them go level with Tranmere Rovers at the top of the table.

Colchester are hovering around the relegation zone and have lost seven games in a row.

Bookmaker William Hill have Rovers at 7/10 to take the three points and claim the double over Colchester this season.

A win for Colchester would be good news for the bookmakers, as many will predict a home win today. Hartlepool were the bookies friends in League One last weekend with their coupon busting win at Sheffield United.

Colchester are 9/2 to win and it is 12/5 on the draw.

David Syers as scored in each of Rovers last three games and he is 8/1 to open the scoring.

Lee Fowler joined the club from Fleetwood Town on Friday and he is 12/1 to score the opener.

Experienced striker Clinton Morrison is now plying his trade at Colchester and he is 8/1 to score first.

Colchester signed youngster Dominic Samuel from Reading on loan this week and he is 8/1 to score the opener.
