The two sides have only ever met on 13 previous occasions at Doncaster. Rovers have by far the better record having won 7, Orient have won 3 and there have been 3 draws.

The first meeting at Belle Vue was in the 1956/57 record and is Rovers best result in the fixture as they won 6-1 in a Second Division clash.

Orient had to wait until their fourth visit to Belle Vue before recording their first win, when they won Third Division clash 1-0.

They have met on just one previous occasion at the Keepmoat Stadium when they met in a League One clash in the 2007/08 season.

After a tight goalless first half the game sprung to life in the second half when Richie Wellens fired Rovers ahead.

Jabo Ibehre quickly restored parity and Orient went ahead halfway through the half through Stephen Purches.

Jason Price equalised within a minute for Rovers and goals in the final ten minutes from James Hayter and a second for Wellens secured a 4-2 Rovers win.
