DRFC Defensive duo in Team of the Week

Doncaster Rovers defensive duo Paul Quinn and Rob Jones have been included in this week`s League One Football League Team of the Week.

Quinn and Jones helped Rovers make it six games unbeaten, with their fifth win in their last five games with a 2-0 home win over Leyton Orient.

Captain and assistant manager Jones once again led by example as he opened the scoring for Rovers in the first half, his seventh goal of the season.

Quinn almost scored his first goal for the club in the second half when the full back saw his effort come back of a post.

Elsewhere in the Football League, former striker Adebayo Akinfenwa was in the League Two Team of the Week after he scored the only goal of the game as Northampton Town beat Burton Albion 1-0 at Sixfields.

The Team of the Week is chosen By the Press Association for the top eleven performing players for their positions over the weekend`s games.
