DRFC Flynn - Good to keep squad together
After a quiet final day of the transfer window at the Keepmoat, Doncaster boss Brian Flynn said it was important to keep the current squad intact.
There was not one deal either in our out of the club on the final day and with Doncaster going well at the top of League One, Flynn was desperate not to lose any of his current squad.
Speaking on the Doncaster Rovers official website , Flynn said, "The most important thing when, I came here as manager, was to make certain that the current squad wasn`t split up and we`ve achieved that.
"When you`re top of the league it`s because you`ve got some good players; we`ve got some good players here so there`s always a possibility that somebody will make an enquiry - I`m not aware of any inquiries for any of our players."
Doncaster brought in two new players during the window with midfielder Lee Fowler signing from Fleetwood Town and Peterborough United striker Emile Sinclair signing on loan for the remainder of the season.
Fellow striker Iain Hume extended his loan deal from Preston North End until the end of the season after a successful first half of the season at the Keepmoat.
Doncaster are currently joint top of League One and their strength has been their continuity in the squad having used just 23 players in the league this season.
