DRFC Flynn - Point could prove crucial
Doncaster Rovers boss Brian Flynn says he was happy with a point after drawing 0-0 with MK Dons at the Keepmoat on Tuesday night.
The draw, a result that brings an end to two straight defeats, sees Rovers remain in second in League One after Bournemouth leapfrogged over both Rovers and Tranmere into top spot in the division.
Flynn says the point could be crucial come the end of the season. Speaking on Radio Sheffield after the game, Flynn said, 'There were chances at both ends and good displays by many players.
'We had a game-plan and we stuck to it, which was important tonight, even at this stage of the season, that we make some amends on the previous two games.
'It's important, that you set out yourself, even at home not to lose a game.
As the season goes on, it will prove to be a valuable point."
Rovers failed to trouble David Martin in the Dons goal all evening and Billy Paynter wasted the best chance when he missed the target when he really should have scored.
