DRFC Flynn wanting two in before Crawley clash

Doncaster Rovers boss Brian Flynn says he is hoping to bring in two players before the game with Crawley Town on Monday.

Rovers have picked up just one point from their last three games and he has lost David Syers, Iain Hume, Chris Brown and Paul Keegan through injury.

Flynn says he has enquired about a number of players and it is now just a matter of waiting for a return call.

Speaking in the Sheffield Star, Flynn said, "We`re awaiting return calls from a number of managers in regards to requests I`ve made. We`re in a wait-and-see situation.

"Because we`re without Browny, Iain Hume and David Syers, a forward is the number one area I`m looking at.

"I`d like to have two new players in by Crawley."

Hume, Syers and Keegan are all close to a return to the side but Brown is expected to be out for at least four weeks.

Rovers have already been linked with Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine.

I like continuity and a settle team but we need something to freshen us up and give us a lift. Hopefully it will be two players in attacking positions as I think we are sound at the back.
