DRFC Would Madine be a good signing?

Doncaster Rovers are being linked with a loan move for Sheffield Wednesday striker Gary Madine.

With Rovers desperate to add to their attacking options, do you think Madine would be a good signing?

Rovers have shared the goals around this season but could they do with a striker who knows how to fire a side to promotion from League One. Madine scored 18 times last season for Wednesday as they won promotion back to the Championship.

Only midfielder David Cotterill is in double figures for Rovers this season having netted ten times. Striker Chris Brown is one behind on nine.

Fellow striker, Billy Paynter (8), defender Rob Jones (7) and striker Ian Hume (5) have all chipped in.

Madine has netted just three times this season but he netted 18 times in each of the previous two seasons in League One.

So what do you think?

I think it is a no-brainer. He may have been struggling in the championship ths season but he is proven in League One. He would be a great signing if we can get him for the rest of the season.
