O'Driscoll Too Negative?

O'Driscoll Too Negative?

Sean O' Driscoll has stated in an interview that he may not be the manager who can get Rovers promoted. He commented on how far the club has come but says that it is a very difficult job getting a team up from the division. He suggests that he is not confident Rovers will get promoted this season.

Is he being too pessimistic? Or just realistic? Surely he was brought in to do one job, get Rovers up, other wise, why change the manager?

He is very hard to listen to. The comments were very strange. I agree it will be difficult to get out of this league but that's why he was given the job.

I have said before he will struggle to get us promoted this season, he will have is own ideas of the style he wants to play and the players he needs to do this, and they may not currently be at the club.

How disappointing to hear our manager say this. He is the one that must lead the football club and that includeds the supporters. Will that give us hope or the will to travel to Yeovil or any other far flung fixture. Please SOD give us hope not dispear.

He's just telling it as he see's it. Mind you, it can be difficult to hear what he says. If only he would turn the volume up a notch? I'm sure if you asked any of our fans if we'd have him back, i'm sure the majority would jump at the chance.
