DRFC Doncaster v Tranmere head-to-head

Vital Doncaster looks at the head-to-head record against Tranmere Rovers over the years.

They have met on 38 previous occasions at Doncaster with 22 home wins, 3 wins for Tranmere and 13 draws in all competitions.

There has only been one previous meeting at the Keepmoat Stadium with Rovers winning a Capital One League Cup tie 3-0 last season thanks to goals from Chris Brown, Ryan Mason and Kyle Bennett.

In the league, three of the last four meetings at Belle Vue finished goalless, with Tranmere winning the other 2-0.

Despite a fantastic home record for Rovers against Tranmere, they have failed to win any of the last six meetings in the league. The last league win came during the 1980/81 season when an own goal was enough for Rovers in a 1-0 win.
