'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Roberts Gone Up

Speaking after the drama at Belle Vue on Wednesday night, Doncaster Rovers manager Sean O'Driscoll explained why Lee & Coppinger were missing from the team.

'We had big problems because we lost James Coppinger and Graeme Lee in training but the boys who came in did extremely well and showed a great deal of commitment and desire.

'When we lost Graeme, Steve Roberts came in and put in a courageous performance and he has gone up in my estimation.'

Rovers are now short of cover in the centre-back position, and could enter the loan market before Saturday.

he certainly isn't scared to play players in different position's which makes keeping your place in the team even harder, so hopefully we will see them fighting for it.
