'If It's Football, It's Vital'

DRFC Build-up to the big game on Saturday

Doncaster Rovers travel to Brentford this weekend for a winner takes all clash in League One and Vital Doncaster will keep you up to date with everything going on at both clubs in the build-up to the game.

The game is already sold out. Rovers will be supported by almost 2,000 travelling fans as they look to win for a fifteenth time on the road this season, the best record in the Football League.

Brentford have the best home record in League One this season, winning 14 and drawing 6 of their 22 home games so far this season.

Rovers go into the game knowing a draw will be enough to win them promotion whilst Brentford will be going all out for the win.

For Rovers promotion will mean an instant return to the championship having been relegated last season after four seasons in the second tier of English football. That came after fifty years in the lower tiers of English football including five years in the non-league.

Brentford last played in the second tier twenty years ago in the 1992/93 season, when they were relegated after just one season on the final day of the season.

Promotion for Brentford on Saturday would be only their second promotion to the second tier in sixty years.

So keep up to date here on Vital Doncaster ahead of biggest game of the season in League One.

We will have all the build-up. Head-to-head, match officials, team news, betting and interviews over the next five days.
