DRFC Dickov brings in Horton as his number two

New Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov has confirmed former Manchester City manager Brian Horton as his number two.

64-year-old Horton has spent almost 30-years as a manager or assistant after starting out in management at Hull City in 1984.

He has managed seven clubs during this time, as well as stints at Manchester City and Hull City he has managed, Oxford United, Huddersfield Town, Brighton and Hove Albion, Port Vale and Macclesfield Town.

Horton had a successful return to Hull City more recently when he was assistant manager to Phil Brown as the club won promotion the Premier League in 2008.

The vastly experienced manager is the latest to join Paul Dickov`s backroom team after Paul Gerrard became the goalkeeping coach at the end of last week.
