DRFC Butler joins club as first team coach

Paul Butler is the latest member to join new Doncaster Rovers manager Paul Dickov`s coaching staff.

Butler will take the role as first team coach at the Keepmoat Stadium and he joins Brian Horton and Paul Gerrard to join the backroom team this week.

The 27-year-old has worked previously with Dickov during his time at Oldham Athletic and he became the youngest sports science coach in the Football League when he arrived at Boundary Park in 2010.

Butler has worked with Premier League clubs Fulham, Manchester City and Middlesbrough as well as working with a number of Olympic athletes.

I would have thought so. I still believe Rob is a model professional and he will always be a leader on the pitch.
